Pelican Weekly Beer Pairing Showcase

For the week of December 13th - 19th, the chef team has created the following special menu items we believe pair perfectly with beers we currently have on tap. 

Breakfast Specials:
Bagel Sandwich: Toasted bagel topped with cram cheese, avocado, tomato, egg, and bacon; served wtih a bowl of fresh fruit.

Chorizo Scramble: Spicy chorizo sauteed with onion and tomato, scrambled with three eggs and pepper jack cheese, and topped with cilantro crema; served with hashbrowns and a side of toast.

Lunch choices:
Lemongrass Fried Chicken Sandwich: Lemongrass marinated chicken breast deep fried and served on our house made spent grain bun with Nestucca ESB pickled cucumbers, cilantro aioli, and sweet chili sauce; served with your choice of French fries, salad, or vegetables. Pairing: Nestucca ESB

Chicken Pesto Calzone: Our house made dough with chicken, basil pesto, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, and feta cheese. Pairing: Nestucca ESB

Dinner entrees:
Parmesan Crusted Cod: Alaskan cod fillet crusted with parmesan cheese; served with steamed rice, seasonal vegetables, beer blanc sauce and crispy capers. Pairing: Nestucca ESB

Seafood Green Curry: Thai style green curry with mussels, clams, calamari, snow peas, carrots, coconut milk and onion; served with steamed white rice. Pairing: Nestucca ESB

Complete your meal with dessert of Pear Tarte Tatin: Fresh pear tarte tatin with Nestucca ESB caramel and Tillamook ice cream. Pairing: Nestucca ESB
