In honor of the Pelican Pub & Brewery’s 15th Anniversary this May, we will be holding a five-city Treasure Hunt in Oregon and Washington. Cities include Salem, Portland, Bend, Eugene & Vancouver.
The winner in each city will win a VIP weekend getaway package in Pacific City for our 15th Anniversary Party May 6-8, 2011, which includes two nights at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda that weekend, two tickets to the Meet the Brewers Reception on May 6, VIP invitation to the Pelican’s 15th Anniversary party on May 7 and one year-long membership to the Pelican’s “Mug Club.”
The Pelican Treasure Hunt will begin on April 8, 2011, in two cities. The first clues will be announced on Pelican’s Facebook page on Friday, April 8 at noon, and there will be a clue announced each day until the Pelican Golden Coaster is found in both cities for that week. First clues for the next two cities will be announced Friday, April 15 at noon, and first clue for the final city will be announced on Friday, April 22 at noon. Look for the
clues to help figure out which cities the Golden Coasters are hidden in for that week as well as the location in each city.
The person who retrieves the Golden Coaster must take a photo with both themselves and the Golden Coaster in the photo and post it to Pelican’s Facebook page. The first person to do so in the city or cities that week will win one of five grand prize weekend getaways. Plan to share the wealth; only one grand prize per person, please.
The schedule of clues will be as follows:
Two Cities – April 8, 2011
Two Cities – April 15, 2011
Final City – April 22, 2011
You must be 21 or over to participate in the contest, and become a fan of the Pelican’s Facebook page. Employees of the Pelican Pub & Brewery and Nestucca Ridge Family of Companies are not eligible to participate in the treasure hunt.
The Pelican Pub & Brewery invites everyone to attend the 15th Anniversary party May 7, 2011. There will be appetizers, live entertainment, and Pelican beer available for purchase. A historical slide show will be presented and Pelican memorabilia will be on display. More details to come as we plan the exciting event.
