Pelican Weekly Beer Pairing Showcase

For the week of May 17th - 23rd, the chef team has created the following special menu items we believe pair perfectly with beers we currently have on tap. 

Breakfast Specials:
Blackened Oysters and Eggs: Three blackened oysters served with two eggs any style, hashbrown potatoes, and your choice of toast.

Our Precious is a special collaboration beer between the Pelican Pub & Brewery and 666 Brewing of Hamilton, New Zealand. Brewmasters Darron Welch and Graeme Mahy came up with the idea for this beer while touring breweries and judging beer together in Munich, Germany. Our Precious is the result. Golden-colored and medium-bodied, Our Precious features a hop character bursting with fruity Kiwi hops, balanced by a malt backbone of Pale Ale, Melanoidin and Caramel malts.

For the week of May 10th - 16th, the chef team has created the following special menu items we believe pair perfectly with beers we currently have on tap. 

Breakfast Specials:
Salmon Hash: Wild salmon sauteed with crispy potatoes seasoned with blackening spice, red peppers, and red onions; topped with two eggs any style, dill aioli, and green onions.

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, for the week of May 3rd - 9th, the chef team has created the following special menu items we believe pair perfectly with beers we currently have on tap. 

Breakfast Specials:
Chili Relleno Omelette: Roasted poblano peppers, bay shrimp, onion, and pepper jack cheese inside a 3 egg omelette, topped wtih a spicy tomato cream sauce; served with hash browns and a side of toast.

Breakfast Specials:
Banana Bread French Toast: House made banana bread dipped in French toast batter and grilled; served with fresh fruit and MacPelican's Scottish Style Ale syrup.

Breakfast Specials:
Veggie Frittata: Yellow squash, zucchini, red onion, tomato, and spinach baked with 3 eggs, garnished with parmesan cheese and served with a side of toast.

Fry Bread Waffle: Our Navajo fry bread deep fried, tossed with cinnamon sugar, and topped with kiwi strawberry compote and a blackberry MacPelican's Scottish Style Ale syrup.

Green Chili Pork Benedict: Green chili braised pulled pork on top of two English muffins, topped with poached eggs and green chili bechamel sauce; served with hash browns.
