Description of position:
The Sous Chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in the kitchen, supervising other kitchen staff, keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen, ability to problem solve and take control of a situation at a moment's notice; effectively discipline underperforming staff memebers; provide incentives for staff members to go above and beyond the expectations of their particular roles; responsible for scheduling & apprenticeship development; coaching and mentoring staff; have the ability to quickly and authoritatively delegate job tasks to the kitchen team. In addition to managing the kitchen, we need our Sous Chefs to prepare and cook dishes. The Sous Chef is in charge of making sure the food served is of top quality. Our Sous Chefs work with the executive chef with menu planning, special events and inventory. They ensure the kitchen meets safety standards. We expect our Sous Chefs to take a leadership role and lead by example. Any egos should be left at the door.

Specific Position Requirements:
Culinary Degree, 2-3 years working as a Sous Chef in a busy, fast paced kitchen, dedication to high quality and executed food, a great team oriented personality, interest and experience in beer cuisine are a must. Ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel and stand for periods of 8 hours or longer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds over head-height and carry items up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.

Description of position:
Greet every guest with a warm welcome and smile. Provide a superior level of service to our guests. Before you say "no" to a guest, find a way to say "yes". Serve guests in a quick, efficient, and pleasant way. Keep the dining areas clean, organized and well stocked. Make the guests' stay pleasant and memorable. The Server is expected to: know the menu (food and beverage items, descriptions and presentation); greet guests and help guide them to a proper table; pre-bus and bus dirty dishes, clean and reset tables; pick up food from kitchen in a timely manner; communicate with kitchen in a professional manner; and more.

Specific Position Requirements:
OLCC and Food Handlers Card. Ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, climb, reach, stand and walk for periods of 8 hours or longer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds over head-height and balance 30 pounds at shoulder height.
