Sure, we love telling you all about the Inn at Cape Kiwanda, but so do the people who have been coming here year after year. Read on and you'll soon see why our repeat guests choose the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and Pacific City on the Oregon Coast.
We had a lovely holiday in Oregon for 2 weeks and one of the highlights was your lovely little Inn at Cape Kiwanda. We were very happy with our room, which was very cozy and warm - it was just what we were looking for and we found it on the Internet. Previous to this trip, we knew nothing about Pacific City, so the Internet proved to be helpful in finding this little gem. The scenery was beautiful and there were lots of interesting things to do in the area. We will plan on coming back and will be telling our friends about this place. We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. Wishing you all the best,
Hello, I had a wonderful experience on my first visit to the Inn at Cape Kiwanda. The room was clean and lovely and the bath was wonderful. I’ve traveled a lot for my job and have stayed in many different hotels around the country. The room at the Inn was comfortable and had such a nice decor. I especially liked the deep bathtub since a lot of hotels now only have showers and I enjoy soaking in a tub after long flights or just to relax, as I did this week. Everyone that I spoke with at the Inn was helpful and personable. I took the opportunity to visit the Cottages and was equally impressed with the floor plans and the sales personnel. I am looking forward to booking a stay at the Cottages in the future. I’d also like to comment on the Pelican Pub & Brewery. The food was so delicious; I had 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch & 1 dinner there and totally enjoyed each meal. Each of the wait staff I interacted with were knowledgeable and pleasant - Matt & Ashley both (independently) took time to chat with me and give me tips on the area…very appreciated. Just a great place for many reasons. Thank you again for a great experience.
We enjoyed our 2 day stay very much, the view was outstanding and of course the weather was perfect. Our accommodations were as expected. It was quiet at night, just perfect. We enjoyed having a restaurant nearby and also other places not too far away such as Lincoln City and Tillamook. We would recommend it to others and hope to return again ourselves.
This email is to let you know that we enjoyed our stay at Cape Kiwanda very much and if we are in your area again, we will definitely make plans to visit you. Our room’s view was magnificent and it was also very comfortable. We liked the variety of stores/restaurants that were within a few blocks of the inn. We were a bit concerned that traffic noise might disturb us, but the sound of the waves on the “radio” put us right to sleep. We absolutely loved your place and will recommend to our friends.
Just wanted you to know that I enjoyed my stay with you very much! The rooms were clean, comfortable with very nice bedding and linens. It was great to have free wireless internet as well. The girls at the desk were extremely helpful and very nice!!! Very efficient too. The fact that you welcomed my dog, Charlie, with open arms was awesome!! He is an important part of my life and sometimes I like to bring him along when I travel. I will definitely be back to stay at your Inn!! Thank you for everything and keep up the good work.
We found ourselves at your location after driving up from Bandon, Oregon, which is one of our favorite spots. We were not aware of your place, but what a surprise we got. The rooms are beautiful, the staff was great. They spoiled our dog Reilly with treats and attention. We will remember this spot for next year. We have told many of our friends, and even patients & co-workers what a GEM you have.
We have stayed twice recently at your Inn; initially on our north coast trip in September and again this past week. We drove through a winter storm and (partially) after dark to get to your Inn from north of Seaside. There were many other places we could have stayed, but our September stay was so pleasant, we wanted to return. What we love about discovering the Inn at Cape Kiwanda is the quality of the rooms, the location so near a unique beach, the dog-friendly attitude, and the Pier Avenue Rock Shop in Tierra del Mar. I cannot say enough about the ease of enjoying the Pelican Pub & Brewery for both the beer tasting and good food. We also visit Stimulus Espresso Cafe in the Inn’s building. We love being able to pull our vehicle into covered parking when it’s raining and the bunnies always bring a smile. Keep doing what you are doing.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as we drove down the coast after having completed the Seattle Marathon. We loved everything about the Inn and our stay in Pacific City. The rooms had the best view you could imagine. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. There was also a nice leather couch in the room. It was a very short walk to the beach and to the Pelican Pub. We loved waking up early and watching the Dory Fleet go out from the balcony. And we were so close to the beach that we were the first ones to make it to the tide pools at low tide one morning. That was an experience to remember! The staff was very nice and helpful. We didn’t want to continue down the coast - wish we would have just stayed at the Inn a couple more days.
We’ve stayed here twice. This trip was for our family Christmas celebration. We stayed in the Haystack Suite, which allowed for our two children (ages 4 and 8) to sleep on the pull out queen sleeper and for my husband and I to take the master bedroom suite. The view of the ocean and Haystack Rock is amazing and seen from all rooms. The suite has a great hot tub. There is free coffee in the lobby throughout the day, a coffee/pastry shop downstairs, and a pub/brewery across the street with amazing beers and solid American diner food. The staff was friendly and helpful and the area is quiet and not touristy. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to get away from it all and relax, this is the place! Everyone in our family can’t wait to go back!
