Blessing of the Dory Fleet June 6

Just north of the dory ramp on the beach at Cape Kiwanda, the captains of the dory fleet and their families will pause to remember those lost at sea, and say a prayer for the season ahead. Dories will start showing up at 11am and the Blessing with start at Noon. Expect 20 to 40 dories being on display, depending on weather. Tillamook County June Dairy Parade & Festival June 27

The Tillamook County June Dairy Parade and Festival is a celebration of the County’s dairy industry and heritage. The 2015 June Dairy Parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 in downtown Tillamook. 
The Tillamook County June Dairy Parade, which is considered to be the third largest parade in Oregon, originally debuted in 1957.
Held every year in June, the June Dairy Parade begins from the Tillamook County Fairgrounds and proceeds along Third Street into downtown Tillamook.
The Children’s Parade will start just before the main parade. The June Dairy Parade is part of the June Dairy Festival weekend, which also features the Tillamook County Rodeo.

Clover's Day Festival July 3

Fireworks Display July 3

Expect a sensational fireworks display Friday night, July 3rd, on the beach at Bob Straub State Park, made possible by the Pacific City-Nestucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and generous contributions from many local businesses and community members.

To avoid the rush, organizers suggest arriving by 8pm. The fireworks display will start at dusk.

56th Annual Dory Days Festival July 18 & 20

56th Annual Dory Days Festival 

The Pacific City-Nestucca Valley Chamber and the Pacific City Dorymen's Association co-sponsor this event and a major fundraiser for both organizations. The Dorymen's Association will have a large booth and a display of Dory Boats at the Cape Kiwanda parking lot. There will be live music throughout the weekend and many exciting activities including:

The Parade will be Saturday, July 18th, starting at 11am. Parade line-up at the boat ramp on Sunset Drive begins at 8am, judging will begin promptly at 9:30am. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded.

The Fish Fry (fish & chips basket) will be happening at Cape Kiwanda on Saturday, July 18th from Noon to 4pm and Sunday, July 19th from 11am to 3pm.

A 5K run/walk, 10K run and Kids Fun Run on the beach in Pacific City, starting and finishing at the Pelican Pub & Brewery. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit Cedar Creek Child Care Center located near Pacific City, in Hebo, Oregon.

Pre-Registration (through May 15):
$25/participant for 5k run/walk or 10k run
$15/participant in Kids Fun Run (1/2 mile) for 11 & under

Registration (May 15 - July 25)
$30/participant for 5k run/walk or 10k run
$15/participant in Kids Fun Run (1/2 mile) for 11 & under
