Spring Whale Watching Week March 21 - 28

Saturday, March 21 (All day)
> Details

Cape Kiwanda is one of 24 state sponsored whale watching sites for the Oregon State Parks' Spring Whale Watching Week March 21 - 28. Volunteers will be at Cape Kiwanda every day helping visitors spot these magnificent animals.

The gray whales will be migrating northward to waters off of Alaska and are best spotted on clear sunny days from 10am - 1pm. There is an entry buoy in a great location at Cape Kiwanda; looking at the buoy normally shows some activity and you may be able to spot several at one time.
